Welcome Crop Science is a vegetable seed company with very strong Breeding capabilities and seed distribution network for the Indian vegetable seed market.

The company was established in the year 2008 with the prime focus on Research and Production of high-quality vegetable seeds and to make them available ingenuously to the farming community at a reasonable price.

Qualified and experienced vegetable breeders form the core of Research in the Company. The breeding group is well assisted by Agronomists, Plant Protection and Seed Production Specialists. Also, there are a good number of experienced Technical and Field Officers who are all well exposed to the Production and Development of high-quality vegetable seeds.

The company has two mega research stations located in Southern and Northern India. The conventional field breeding is well supported by molecular breeding through well-established molecular markers for the selection process.

To achieve breeding targets in a faster and efficient manner, the company has invested significantly in strengthening R&D by way of developing state-of-the-art MAS laboratory. This would help us in developing new products at a much faster pace compared to conventional breeding.
