Welcome Crop Science is committed to develop, produce and supply quality vegetable seeds with a higher yield, a better level of resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses along with adaptability to various agro-climatic conditions.

To target the Indian vegetable seed market, the company has started breeding programs in crops like Hot Pepper, Tomato, Okra, Cauliflower, Cabbage and Indian gourds like Bitter gourd, Ridge gourd, Sponge gourd, and Bottle gourd.

The company has two mega research stations located in the South (Bengaluru) and North (Delhi) India. Qualified and experienced vegetable breeders form the core of Research in the Company. The breeding group is well assisted by Agronomists, Plant Protection and Seed Production Specialists. Also, there are a good number of experienced Technical and Field Officers who are all well exposed to the Production and Development of high-quality vegetable seeds.

To achieve breeding targets in a faster and efficient manner, the company has made a significant investment in strengthening R&D by way of developing state-of-the-art Marker and Dihaploid laboratories. These facilities help the company in developing new products at a much faster pace compared to traditional breeding.
